Anchored Therapy utilizes individualized counseling modalities to best suit each client’s needs. My therapeutic approach is collaborative and oriented to assist people in defining, developing, and reaching their goals. I specialize in trauma, depression, anxiety, OCD, and ADHD.

EMDR

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Therapy has been shown to reduce emotional distress associated with negative experiences such as trauma, loss, abuse and/or neglect.  EMDR uses a structured protocol utilizing bilateral stimulation of the brain (through eye movements, tapping, and other forms of stimulation) to assist in reducing the distress associated with prior adverse experiences.

Perinatal Health

Anchored Therapy can help you create order out of the chaos so that you and your family can enjoy this chapter of life to the fullest. Whether you are struggling with postpartum depression, feeling overwhelmed by your new role as a parent and not getting enough sleep, or need help balancing other relationships while raising a newborn, Anchored Therapy will give you tools for coping with these challenges.
